Latest encounter
My recent tour to South Africa was one of the best trips ever. It was full of fun, adventure and exotic looking places. Before landing itself, I had decided I won't waste a single moment sitting in my hotel room. I wanted to make the most of this tour. I had heard that it is one of the most wonderful places in the world and it is so true. I definitely want to go again and explore a bit more.
Scenic beauty
The best part of the vacation was the trip to Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean meet. It is one of the most beautiful sights to watch. You can easily notice the difference in the colour of the water. I was totally ecstatic. The serene beauty had me in its grip. I just didn't want to leave.
The other highlight of the tour was the wildlife safari. During the safari, I came across many animals, but the animals that caught my attention were the white lions. It was the first time I saw these animals and their beauty awed me. I have never seen anything as gorgeous. The most thrilling moment was when a group of lions literally surrounded our car. It was a little scary; I just couldn't take my eyes off them.
Vegetarian woes
I am a vegetarian, so I did have a little bit of issues with food as there is not much choice. Luckily though, there are a few Indian restaurants around. But I guess I would vote for nature and scenery in South Africa. And the people are very friendly and warm. They don't make you feel out of place.
Travel on the menu
I don't take vacations too often. I travel a lot for concerts and so they turn out to be my vacations at the same time. One of my most unforgettable trips was to Switzerland last year. I was all by myself and explored every bit of the heavenly place.
Every nook and corner, with its historical background, fascinated me. I am an adventurous person and so I prefer hilly areas, mountains, adventure sports and so, Switzerland was just perfect.
Worth a revisit
I would love to revisit ufffd South Africa, Switzerland and Paris. One episode that I will never forget is my first paragliding experience in Switzerland. It was just outstanding as it was 2000 ft above sea level! I was thrilled to bits. I felt the sense of freedom while flying in the sky; it made me smile for days to come. Even Paris bowled me over by its sheer beauty and architechture. I really had a great time in all these trips and would definitely like to relive the beautiful moments.
