The actor has cancelled the ongoing schedule of Aanand L Rai's 'Manmarziyan' to join the publicity campaign of his upcoming release, 'Zubaan'.

Vicky was supposed to start shooting for Rai's film in Punjab from February 10, but the makers of 'Zubaan' wanted those dates for promotions, says a source, adding: "Vicky had requested the makers of 'Zubaan' to get permission from Rai and his team for his dates. But, eventually, he dropped out of the schedule to promote 'Zubaan'."

The actor was in Delhi on February 16 and will be going back to the capital city once again for another promotional activity. "He has also been attending events in Mumbai and interacting with the media. He will now allot dates to Rai only after the film releases," explains the source.

'Zubaan' director Mozez Singh confirms the news, saying, "We have requested the makers of 'Manmarizyan' to adjust his dates", while Rai says, "We have a long schedule in Punjab till April. Vicky will join us later."
