The actor says, “Director Tigmanshu Dhulia wanted the scenes to look as real as possible, so we decided to shoot in Chambal. I was given a brief to have a hand-to-hand fight with the guys in the shoot. Accordingly we designed the scene and had rehearsals too. While giving a take, I had to hit the co-star and my stunt man with my legs. We were shooting on a cliff and I quickly realised that he had lost his balance.”
The actor jumped behind him and their fall happened to be stopped by a boulder.
“It was a scary experience as he started sliding from the steep mountain and I went behind him to give him a helping hand. The place was accident-prone and he would have got badly injured if he not stopped at the right time. Later, the unit members formed a human chain and pulled us out from the huge dug out,” adds Vidyut.
A unit member says, “It was a narrow escape for our fight master.”u00a0
