The Movies I Loved Growing Up
The stand-up comic and actor on his list of flicks...

Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi: My dad made me watch this movie when I was 10. It was the funniest movie I had ever seen. And I don't think we have managed to create a comedy like that since. It was a film that worked on every single level. Madhubala was such a beauty and Kishore Kumar simply outstanding!

Amar Akbar Anthony:
It was such a rage and nothing was more cooler than the Big B as Anthony. I think every kid wanted to be him.

Dead Poets Society: It talked about a kid who secretly dreamed of performing. Something I could relate to and also because of Robin Williams that someone so funny could also be deep and moving.

The Hound of the Baskervilles: It was so intriguing. I am the world's biggest Sherlock Holmes fan and this was probably Arthur Conan Doyle's best story.

Young Frankenstein: I have grown up on Mel Brooks' movies for all of my life. I loved that it was black and white, I loved that it took one of the oldest stories in the world and destroyed it with comedy.
