Karan Johar still hasn't started working on a script for his next, despite his two-week working sabbatical in London

After two weeks in London, Karan Johar has returned more confused than ever.
The intention was to work on the script for his next project (which he will also direct) minus regular co-writer Shibani Bhatija.

Says the filmmaker, "I came back with all kinds of ideas but none that I can immediately finalise. I am still confused!! My creative sabbatical wasn't entirely a success!"

Not nervous
Is he nervous about scripting all alone after a long time? "No I am not nervous. I have written before for Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. I am excited about writing a script and am dying to get back on the sets to direct," he avers.

What about his tweet that he managed to complete the first page of his script? He answers, "I wrote one page and it ended there as three different ideas came into my head. I couldn't write any more as I am confused now as to which idea I should develop for my next film."

Walked, shopped
He concludes, "Apart from scripting, I enjoyed walking around London and being on my own. I shopped for my overflowing wardrobe. It certainly doesn't need any more clothes but what to do? Aadat se majboor hoon! I am a shopaholic."

Working it out
It has been said that Karan would go to Hyde Park every day and feed the ducks at the lake there to find inspiration for his script. Karan laughs, "I didn't spend my entire time feeding the ducks - sometime I would just sit and stare at them. I would go there for solitude, tranquility and inspiration. The solitude and tranquility worked out - sadly the inspiration didn't!"
