On February 26, Ali Fazal posted an old picture on his Instagram. It captured the moment when he first met Robert De Niro, the American actor and producer. In the photo, Ali, the actor from Fukrey, looked really happy as he experienced his fanboy moment, getting an autograph from De Niro. Along with the picture, Ali shared that he's usually too shy to ask for autographs or take photos with people he admires. Interestingly, it was Dia Mirza who convinced him to go for the meeting.

He wrote in the caption, “ #Throwback to the 1st time i met him . God , i remember how you @diamirzaofficial took me there.. cant thank you enough. I was too shy to ever step into a room to take autographs and photos with people i admire. I still am socially very awkward when i have to play myself . Lol. But to Greatness and its infection.”
