Deepika Padukone is often seen indulging in PDAs with Ranveer Singh. But this time, on her Instagram account, she channeled her sharp and funny side. Since most of the actors and actresses have been working out taking all the precautions, Padukone has given us what exactly ‘Expectations v/s Reality’ looks like. In one picture, that represents expectations, she could be seen doing the Chakrasan pose of Yoga, and in the picture that shows us the reality, she could be seen taking a nap. The actress, who rediscovered her voice as an artist with the critical and commercial success of ‘Cocktail’, has as many as six films lined-up. The first one would be with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham titled ‘Pathan’. She also has Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ with Ranveer Singh, an untitled film with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday, ‘Draupadi’, which is likely to be a trilogy, ‘The Intern’ remake with Amitabh Bachchan, and an opus with Bachchan again that also stars Prabhas.
Talking about ‘Pathan’, sources close to the unit reveal that the cast and crew will get tested over the weekend. “It will be a seven-to-10-day schedule that will take place at Yash Raj studio in Andheri, in a bio-bubble. Aditya sir [Chopra, producer] is clear that only those who have been vaccinated can be part of the team. Siddharth has an international schedule pending, but that will happen later. Given the current scenario, they plan to shoot in short stints,” reveals a source. With Maharashtra witnessing cases of Delta plus variant, the state government has instructed production houses to exercise caution while shooting.
