Even as she is juggling the shoot of Fukrey 3 and the groundwork for her maiden production Girls will be Girls, another project appears to have come Richa Chadha’s way. The actor has been approached for a Hollywood film, which will see her portray a ranch owner of Indian origin.

Chadha wants to prep thoroughly for her role in the action drama before meeting the producers in the US by May-end and locking the deal. To this end, she has begun taking horse-riding lessons. Actor-action director Jeetu Verma was initially helping her pick up the sport at the SRPF Grounds in Goregaon. “Richa has no prior experience in the sport and was eager to learn it from scratch. She would begin her day with lessons at the Goregaon grounds. On days that her work would take her to south Mumbai, she used to head out for a few rounds at the Mahalaxmi Race Course,” says a source.

Earlier this month, the actor flew off to Delhi to film the third instalment of the popular comedy franchise, Fukrey. The source adds, “She does not want to miss out on her practice now that she has picked up the basics. So, she is continuing the lessons at a local sports centre in the capital.” Besides the Hollywood project, Chadha has the second seasons of The Great Indian Murder and Candy in the pipeline. She is also in talks for an Australian film.
