‘Love & War’ delayed yet again

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited Love & War is reportedly set to release on August 14, 2026, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend, according to Variety. The new date, shifted from its earlier March 2026 schedule, is said to be a strategic move to maximise the extended holiday window. We have learnt that while nearly 125 days of filming are complete, a substantial portion remains to be shot, prompting the change. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, the team will next head to Italy to shoot the film’s climax.

KJo’s found a marketing genius

Not long ago, reports of a fallout between filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Kartik Aaryan made headlines after their first collaboration, Dostana 2, was shelved. However, their relationship appears to have thawed in recent years. In a chat with Curly Tales, Karan showered praise on Kartik, calling him “a marketing genius.” He said, “Kartik Aaryan has got a great marketing mind. He’s built his own brand so smartly, so superbly, so strategically.” On the work front, Kartik will soon be seen in Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Teri Tu Mera, and Naagzilla — Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand backed by Karan’s Dharma Productions.

Akki can’t hold back praise

The trailer of Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda and debutant Simar Bhatia, has created a buzz across Bollywood. The film marks the acting debut of Akshay Kumar’s niece, Simar, daughter of his sister Alka Bhatia. Sharing his pride, Akshay wrote on Instagram, “My little Simi’s not so little anymore, from your living room performances to the big screen in Ikkis, heart bursting with pride!” Twinkle Khanna also praised her, saying, “So refreshingly natural. Well done, my talented little one.” Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film tells the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, portrayed by Agastya. The trailer highlights his bravery, emotional depth, and the spirit of sacrifice.
