Priyanka Chopra, who is promoting her latest actioner Heads of State with Idris Elba and John Cena, recently opened up about everything from desi cravings to demanding her worth. Calling herself “A hundred per cent desi girl,” she added, “I have pickle with my sandwiches.” The actor revealed that she still gets her fix of Indian mangoes — Deseri and Langda — from friend and celebrity chef, Vikas Khanna. It is something that gives her a “sense of home.” In a clip shared on social media by fashion content creator Diet Sabya, PeeCee also talked about the action-comedy. She said that Elba and Cena are “the muscle in the movie.” When asked if she could pull off stunts like Tom Cruise or Akshay Kumar, she laughed and quipped, “Leave it to them.” Priyanka also addressed gendered pay disparities, and shared, “It is difficult to ask for your worth. You get called difficult to work with.”

With her screen debut on the way, Shanaya Kapoor is set to turn a contemporary to her best friends Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan. Shahid Kapoor is set to showcase his signature dance moves in two high-energy tracks for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Arjun Ustara, also starring Triptii Dimri. Joining him on the dance floor for the first time is Disha Patani. Sources close to the film shared, “Both songs have the moves and beats that Shahid’s songs are known to have.” Lavish sets have reportedly been constructed for the shoot, promising visual grandeur. Described as “massy dance dhamaka” numbers, the tracks are expected to appeal to a wide audience. The film is slated to release in December.
