In 2019, Neha Dhupia started the social media campaign, Freedom to Feed that aims to make public spaces conducive for nursing mothers. Now, the actor is extending the conversation to women’s health, particularly Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). She has announced a 21-day challenge that will focus on awareness, education, and lifestyle guidance to help women understand and manage PCOS better.

Speaking about the campaign that she launched with nutritionist Richa Gangani, Dhupia said, “For years, I’ve seen how women silently struggle with PCOS and related health challenges. Through Freedom to Feed, our mission has always been to create safe spaces for conversations around women’s health — from breastfeeding to now extending it to hormonal health. The 21-day challenge is about building a community where women feel heard, supported, and guided.”

With the campaign having started on September 25 with an on-ground event in Mumbai, it will now include online activities such as interactive sessions, expert-led webinars, meal-planning resources, and social media conversations. “Nutrition plays a crucial role in improving hormonal balance and overall well-being for those living with PCOS. This is designed to make evidence-based information accessible and actionable for everyone,” said the actor, adding that destigmatising the condition is also one of its objectives. “There is still so much stigma and misinformation around PCOS. We want to change that by starting open
conversations.”
