Radhikka Madan on her character in Subedaar

Speaking about her character, Radhikka shared, “I got the power after seeing her. She’s so fierce and almost looks unbreakable. And at the same time, I know that she’s got a very special bond with her father. This one’s for the daughters and the fathers.”

She added that Shyama carries her father’s blood in her veins, and audiences will see his reflection in her.

Addressing the film’s emotional depth, she said, “I’m sure you’re thinking that our film is definitely action-packed and commercial. But it has a lot of soul. The father-daughter bond is so special. I think it grounds our film. It is really emotional.”

Recalling her time on set, she revealed, “Anil sir and I were either angry or crying; these were very intense characters for both of us.”

Calling it a privilege to share screen space with him, she described him as kind, generous, and the most energetic person on set, from whom she learned immensely.

About Subedaar

The trailer of Subedaar plunges into India’s rugged heartland, where illegal sand mining fuels a land ruled by fear and silence. Retired Subedaar Arjun Maurya returns - disciplined, battle-scarred, and grieving - until his path collides with Prince (Aditya Rawal). Anil Kapoor anchors the film with simmering intensity, delivering the powerful line, “Fauji hai, seene mein goli jhel sakte hai, beizzati nahi.” What follows is a tense and brutal face-off as Arjun takes on a ruthless new adversary, while his strained relationship with his daughter Shyama deepens the emotional stakes.

With its blend of powerful performances, emotional storytelling, and gripping action, Subedaar promises to resonate strongly with audiences.

It is releasing on Prime Video on March 5, 2026.
