Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Box Office: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's film crosses Rs 50 crore on day 4

Karan Johar's latest release 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' opened to rave reviews on July 28. The positive reception towards the film is also being reflected at the box office. After opening at Rs 11.1 crore in Friday , the film saw an upward trend on Saturday and Sunday at the box office, collecting Rs 45.9 crore in opening weekend.
While there has been a drop on its first Monday, the film has still managed to stay strong by collecting Rs 7.02 crore at the Indian box office. With it's first Monday collection, registered, the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer has collected Rs 52.92 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "#RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani remains super-strong on the make-or-break Monday, despite reduction in ticket rates on weekdays... National chains - especially at urban centres - continue to drive its biz… Fri 11.10 cr, Sat 16.05 cr, Sun 18.75 cr, Mon 7.02 cr. Total: ₹ 52.92 cr. #India biz. Going forward, an open run [till 11 Aug 2023] gives #RRKPK a solid chance to accumulate a healthy total… Eyes ₹ 70 cr+ in Week 1, should comfortably cross ₹ 100 cr before Week 2 concludes."
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' marks Karan Johar's seventh directorial and also his 25 years in the movie business. The film which has Ranveer and Alia Bhatt in the lead follows the love story of Rocky and Rani, who belong to contrasting backgrounds and cultures. It also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
Several celebrities have been taking to social media to praise the film. On Sunday, Shilpa Shetty also took to her social media handle to praise the film. "Watched #rockyaurranikipremkahani! @RanveerOfficial was ROCKingggg, u are a born entertainer! U all have to watch him cause whatever I say would fall short… now I'm an official fan you are sooo special," she wrote.
