The former actress had reportedly been battling age-related health issues for a while. Following her death, she is survived by her husband and children, Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan. She was 81 at the time of her death.

Who was Zarine Khan?
Zarine Khan was born as Zarine Katrak in a Parsi family in Bengaluru. She was a renowned model, actress and interior designer who got famous in the 1960s and 1970s. Her striking beauty and poise made her one of the early faces who helped shape India’s fashion and advertising industry. She also acted in Hindi films, with significant roles in movies such as Tere Ghar Ke Samne (1963), wherein she starred alongside Dev Anand.

Beyond her on-screen presence, she was also known as the wife of actor-director Sanjay Khan. The two reportedly met in the late 1960s and eventually tied the knot. Despite the buzz surrounding their lives, Zarine chose to largely stay away from the limelight, focusing on her family and home. She is also known as the mother of Sussanne Khan, Zayed Khan, Farah Khan Ali, and Simone Arora.
She also authored cookbooks and lifestyle articles that included recipes from Parsi families, preserving the Parsi and family food traditions.

Zarine Khan's last rites took place in Juhu, where Sanjay Khan and her family was seen visibly shattered by her sudden passing away. She was carried for her final journey from her Juhu home in an ambulance decorated with white flowers.
