Shah Rukh Khan has once again taken the initiative for a charity cause, this time assisting families impacted by floods in Punjab. This program intends to provide critical assistance to families dealing with the consequences of one of Punjab's most severe flood catastrophes in recent years.

According to reports, the Meer Foundation is distributing aid packages with prescriptions, hygiene products, food supplies, mosquito nets, tarpaulin sheets, portable beds, cotton mattresses, and other essential items. These supplies will be distributed to 1,500 households in the Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka, and Firozpur districts. The relief operation has been designed to address emergency health, safety, and shelter needs while also supporting affected families in rebuilding their lives with dignity.

Previously, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his support for Punjab citizens on social media. The superstar posted a message on X and Instagram Stories, saying, "My heart is with those in Punjab who are suffering from these devastating floods. Sending prayers and strength. "The spirit of Punjab will remain unbroken. May God bless them all." His ideas and actions together demonstrate that community and human decency are what people require most after natural calamities.

Punjab is currently experiencing considerable floods, with the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers overflowing due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Over 1,000 communities and extensive tracts of farmland have been swamped, putting many in desperate need of assistance. Shah Rukh Khan's relief program through the Meer Foundation is undeniably a beacon of hope, ensuring that many families receive the vital assistance they really need during this catastrophe.

Salman Khan also spoke about the disaster

Salman Khan also discussed the issue in Punjab during the Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, saying, "We are doing as much as we can. We've contributed to the relief fund. Even famous Punjabi musicians are assisting in every manner they can, putting their rivalry aside. His Being Human Foundation is also said to have sent five rescue boats to help with continuing relief efforts.

The Meer Foundation, Khan's humanitarian venture, has previously sponsored disaster relief efforts and social projects throughout the country.
