Shah Rukh Khan
All set to return to the big screen after four years since Zero (2018), Shah Rukh Khan has triggered plenty of buzz for his January 25 release, Pathaan. In the second song, Jhoome jo Pathaan, the actor is seen sporting his trademark pose, with his arms stretched out.
Bosco Martis, who choreographed the peppy number, which also features leading lady Deepika Padukone, says, “In one of the scenes, we wanted to celebrate Khan saab’s iconic pose while flaunting his chiselled body. He was a little shy initially to show off his ripped physique.” Going by the response it has garnered, he is thrilled to have shot the sequence.
Calling it a dream to choreograph the two actors, Martis says, “Khan saab and Deepika are extremely dedicated professionals. They made sure they were thorough with the choreography before we started shooting. Despite a hectic schedule, both the superstars rehearsed for a couple of hours every day post pack-up.” He adds, “Director Siddharth Anand’s brief was to make the song look cool and stylised with effortless Sufiana dance moves. We wanted it to have a distinguished and groovy hook-step.”
