The massive success of Saiyaara has took the industry by storm with films changing their release date. Recently, Son Of Sardaar 2 makers announced the postponement of film and it will now release on 1st August. On the same day, Siddhant Chaurvedi and Triptii Dimri starrer Dhadak 2 is releasing. With just few days left for release, the actresses- Mrunal and Triptii excanhed warm wishes and cheered for each other.

On Tuesday, Mrunal Thakur took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “It’s RELEASE WEEK and the excitement is real!! Talking about Son Of Sardaar 2, it was initially scheduled for release on July 25, the makers postponed the film less than a week before it was to hit the screens. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son Of Sardaar 2 boasts a power-packed cast including Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and the late Mukul Dev.
About Dhadak 2
When it comes to Dhadak 2, it is directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and others. A spiritual sequel to the 2018 hit Dhadak, this new chapter brings a fresh cast and storyline to the screen. The film follows the love story of Vidhi played by Triptii and Nilesh played by Siddhant, two young people from different castes whose relationship faces resistance. It is inspired by the critically acclaimed 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.
On the work front for Triptii, she has highly anticipated films in her kitty including Vishal Bhardwaj’s next with Shahid Kapoor, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit opposite Prabhas.
