Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur's latest song, Pehla Tu, from their upcoming film Son of Sardar 2 has got the entire internet talking. Soon after the song was released, the internet couldn't help but notice their weird and unusual 'finger' step. Ever since, there have been countless memes circulating on the internet making fun of the dance step. Now, when the leading pair attended the trailer launch event of Son of Sardaar 2 in Mumbai, he had to be asked, and react he did. His response left everyone in splits.

When asked, Ajay said, "I don't know about people. But I will tell you — aap log mera mazak uda rahe ho, lekin mere liye yeh bhi karna bahut mushkil hai. Woh maine kar diya, uska aap log shukar kariye (I don’t know about others, but while you may be making fun of me, even doing this much was really difficult for me. Be thankful I managed to do that much)."

Just when everyone else was in splits with Ajay's response, Mrunal quipped, "So, actually it looks very easy, but when you do it yourself, you’ll understand that it’s actually a big mental workout."
Notably, as soon as the track and the video was released, the internet cringed at the hook steps, which involve Ajay and Mrunal holding hands, sticking their fingers out in weird combinations. Users even pointed out the bizarre choice of location. They noticed that they are seen dancing and romancing in the middle of a graveyard.
Kajol reacts to the step
Earlier on Friday, Ajay's wife Kajol also reacted to the step. She couldn’t contain her laughter, and she playfully joked, “I think Ajay Devgn is one of the best dancers we have in the film industry. Because he is the only person now who is able to dance with his fingers. Pehle hota tha ki chal ke aate the toh music uske hisaab se banta tha. Abhi toh sirf ungliyon se kar rahe hain. Ek..do..teen..chaar. (Earlier, actors used to walk, and the music would be composed to match their steps. Now, it’s all being done with just fingers—one, two, three, four). I think he is one of the smartest dancers we have in the film industry."
The song sung by Vishal Mishra is composed and penned by Jaani. Interestingly, Vishal Mishra also reacted to the video of Kajol reacting to Ajay Devgn’s finger step in the song by dropping a laughing emoji and a red heart emoji.
