Jaideep Ahlawat’s dancing skills were a delightful surprise as he grooved to the song Jaadu from Jewel Thief. The actor, widely praised for his powerful performances, proved he can also ace smooth moves on the dance floor. At the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), where he won the Best Actor award, Jaideep stole the limelight with his energetic bhangra- sharing the stage with Malaika Arora.

In a video now going viral on social media, Jaideep is seen on stage with Malaika Arora and casting director Mukesh Chhabra, alongside dancers dressed in traditional Indian costumes. Though initially hesitant, the Paatal Lok star soon broke into bhangra, performing with infectious enthusiasm and leaving the audience in awe. Malaika was seen cheering him on, while Mukesh tried to match Jaideep’s energy.

Jaideep wins Best Actor award
At the prestigious festival, Jaideep was honoured with the Best Actor award for Paatal Lok. The actor rose to fame with the first season of the Prime Video series and recently returned as Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary in its second season.
Reflecting on victory, Jaideep said "This award is truly overwhelming. To be recognized on an international platform like the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is an honor I will cherish forever. Hathiram Chaudhary's journey has been an extraordinary one, and this award belongs to the entire team who poured their heart and soul into making Paatal Lok what it is today”.
He further mentioned, “I’m deeply grateful to the jury and, most importantly, to the audience for their love and support. This is for all of you”.
The announcement, made during the prestigious awards night in Melbourne, solidified his status as one of the most compelling and brilliant actors in Indian Cinema. Ahlawat's portrayal in the second season of the critically acclaimed series was hailed by critics and audiences alike as a masterclass in acting.
