"The Lion King is a timeless classic and it’s an honour for me to be a part of it. For my character, we worked on the Mumbai slang through relatable terms that are funny and yet non-offensive. It is a family entertainer and we wanted to maintain that in every dialogue", said Shreyas Talpade.
In an earlier interview, he said that he likes the challenges thrown at him. Shreyas Talpade said, "If everything is going in your favour or is good, then you will become complacent. I like challenges thrown at me... I don't mind when I am not called a star, or when people say I am finished or think I am a non-actor. I know what I am capable of. I believe in myself."
Elisabet Elli AvrRam was also clicked in the city. On the work front, she is all set to make her digital debut with The Verdict vs Nanavati. Directed by Shashant Shah, the 10-episode series is based on the real-life incident of 1959 and follows the trial of naval officer KM Nanavati who shot three bullets from his revolver at a businessman and later confessed his crime to the police.
Even after six decades the infamous story of K.M. Nanavati Vs. The state of Maharashtra is still one of the most sensational criminal cases in India and marks a landmark judgement in the history of India.
Kajal Agarwal was clicked shooting in Mumbai suburbs. On the work front, the actress teams up with actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan for the first time in the upcoming Tamil film Indian 2. Talking about the same, she said that signing the project has been a step up in her over a decade-long career. Last seen on screen in Telugu film "Kavacham", Kajal has already begun prepping for her role in Indian 2.
On the career front, Kajal is keenly looking forward to the release of Paris Paris, the Tamil remake of Kangana Ranaut's Queen. Paris Paris will be Kajal's first release of 2019.
Dia Mirza, who is also a film producer, it's a thing to ponder that in a career of over 15 years, she has worked with women directors only twice. The actress was snapped in Andheri, Mumbai.
"It is appalling that in my career of over 15 years, I did not get enough chances to work with women directors... it has been hardly one or two times. I did not intentionally choose not to work with women filmmakers. Unfortunately, there were hardly any women on the director's chair till a few years ago," Dia Mirza told IANS in a telephonic interview.
