Eric previously spoke to People about his wedding plans. He claimed that he and his fiancee, Lindsay, are now building a house to host the wedding and are nearly finished. He said, "Well, I've said we're building a house to host a wedding, and we're still on track to do that. We're almost done with the house, and that's been our plan all along."
Eric also revealed that he became engaged to Lindsay in 2017 and then had the opportunity to build the house with her. He thought it was a terrific approach to start the relationship while laying a solid basis. So, they organised their wedding around the construction of his dream home. He said, "We got engaged and then all of a sudden got an opportunity to build a house, and I thought, no better way to start a relationship than literally building a foundation. So that's our plan and we're still on track for that."
Who is Lindsay Schweitzer?
Lindsay Schweitzer is a pediatric nurse. They met in 2016 at the Big Slick charity weekend in Kansas City. Eric hosted the event alongside his buddies Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis. Lindsay was caring for a patient and was quite impressed by Eric's gesture. A source close to the couple revealed that they were content with each other and had been spending time together since then.
By 2017, Eric Stonewear was expressing his love wherever he went. On Ellen DeGeneres' show, he revealed how Lindsay calms him and his nerves. It is worth noting that Eric and Lindsay dated for five years before he proposed, and they became engaged in 2021.
