BTS’s much-awaited Arirang world tour has become even bigger after the group announced the addition of two more concert dates, following an overwhelming response during the ticket pre-sale. The massive demand, which saw tickets selling out within minutes across several cities, prompted organisers to expand the tour, giving more fans a chance to witness the global superstars live on stage.
Arirang tour adds two new concerts
The Arirang tour marks BTS’s first full-scale world tour since their hiatus and has already been billed as one of the most ambitious tours in K-pop history. Originally planned with nearly 80 shows across multiple continents, the tour will now feature additional concerts in North America after fans flooded ticketing platforms during the ARMY Membership pre-sale. The frenzy clearly demonstrated the group’s continued global dominance and the unwavering loyalty of their fanbase.
In South Korea, all opening shows in Goyang were completely sold out within hours of tickets going live, setting the tone for what followed worldwide. Similar scenes were reported in other regions, where fans queued online for hours, with many unable to secure tickets despite being logged in early. Social media platforms were soon filled with celebratory posts from fans who managed to grab seats, alongside disappointment from those left empty-handed.
World tour tickets sold out
Responding swiftly to the demand, BTS’s management confirmed the addition of two extra stadium shows in the United States. The move was welcomed enthusiastically by ARMY, who praised the decision as a much-needed step to accommodate the sheer volume of fans hoping to attend. The added dates are expected to ease some of the pressure surrounding general ticket sales, which are still anticipated to be highly competitive.
The Arirang world tour will kick off in April 2026 and continue into early 2027, covering Asia, North America, Europe, and other global destinations. The tour coincides with the release of BTS’s upcoming album, also titled Arirang, making the comeback even more special for fans who have waited years to see the group reunite on stage.
As excitement continues to build, the record-breaking pre-sale response and the addition of new shows have further cemented BTS’s status as one of the biggest touring acts in the world. For ARMY, Arirang is not just a concert tour, but a long-awaited celebration of BTS’s return.
