BTS members celebrating Christmas
In their own charming ways, BTS members V, Jimin, and Jungkook wished ARMYs a happy Christmas. The band's "maknae line" knows how to share happiness in their own unique way to make sure their following has no complaints, from a Christmas cover to a love note for his fans. Following their military discharge in June of this year, the three are celebrating their first Christmas and New Year's. The three youngest members of BTS frequently use their social media platforms to express appreciation and promote joy. This holiday is no exception. Together with the other members, Jin, j-Hope, Suga, and RM, they worked hard on BTS's return album and international tour before welcoming 2026.
Jungkook's fun cover of The Christmas song
Jungkook's cover of Johnny Stimson's The Christmas Song was released on December 23 under the label Big Hit Music. The American singer's version of the 2020 song recreated a jazz classic popularized by Nat King Cole in 1961. Jungkook's winter song featured a video of Seoul's nightscape that he filmed himself. This surprise song is his first official release since his military discharge. For fans, this is a subtle buildup to BTS's full-group reunion in 2026.
Kim Taehyung, alias V, was live on Weverse for around three minutes on Wednesday. ARMYs guessed his excitement as soon as he arrived home. He shared a sweet Christmas moment with them after receiving a surprise gift from a taxi driver. V admitted, "I switched this on for a bit since I had something to brag about. "Listen to this.
V held a chocolate in his palm and stated, "On my way home in a cab today, the driver said, 'This is a surprise gift, a surprise gift. A Christmas present, Turkish chocolate," and handed it to me. So I sincerely thanked him and took it. "I came here to brag about that." V's enthusiasm melted fans' hearts, who said the idol was clearly moved by the surprise compassion.
Interestingly, the chocolate turned out to be Tubana chocolate from Turkey, which was shortly sold out. Tayas Gida, the producer, announced a replenishment four hours later, but it quickly sold out again.
BTS leader RM wished fans a Merry Christmas with a snapshot of a dish of jajangmyeon. He shared it as a story on his official Instagram account.
All about the band's celebration
Meanwhile, the day celebrates the fifth anniversary of Jimin's track Christmas Love, which he uploaded on BTS' blog during the epidemic in 2020. The superstar co-wrote and composed the song, which was inspired by his first snowfall. He had previously written a letter to ARMYs expressing hope. Fans began trending the letter again on social media to commemorate the song's fifth anniversary. An snippet from the long note read, "As we grow up, we become responsible for something and that responsibility makes us, who were pure and genuine, age. I wonder if it makes us hide our emotions a little bit... You are all always worthy to be loved... I worked hard making this song with only one wish, that all of you will be happy people."
