Korean actor Kim Woo-bin has officially announced his December wedding with Shin Min-ah. He shared the news through a beautiful handwritten note on his official fan café on Thursday, marking the couple’s first public confirmation about their upcoming nuptials.

According to reports, Kim began the letter by saying that he wanted his supporters to hear the news directly from him. He thanked them for standing by him over the years and wished everyone well as the weather changed. He then confirmed the wedding, writing: “Today, I wanted to personally share some news with all of you, who have always supported me with unwavering love, so I picked up my pen like this. Yes, I'm getting married. My long-time partner, whom I've shared many years with, and I have decided to start a new chapter as a family. We hope to walk this path together with warmth, and we would be grateful if you could watch over us and cheer for us."
The couple’s agency also confirmed the news with an official statement: “Hello, this is AM Entertainment. We would like to share some happy news about our actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin. Based on the deep trust they have built over their long relationship, Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin have promised to become each other’s lifelong partners.”
“Their wedding will be held privately on December 20 in Seoul, with both families, relatives, and close friends in attendance,” the statement added.
“We ask for your warm support and blessings for the couple as they make this precious life decision. Both will remain dedicated to their work as actors and will strive to repay the love you have shown them.”
Kim and Shin’s romance began in 2015. They are two of Korea’s most recognised faces and never shied away from acknowledging their relationship. They became the face of a strong partnership, especially through Woo-bin’s battle with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017.

Both Shin and Kim have headlined major projects. Shin Min-ah, known for Our Blues and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, remains a leading name in romantic dramas.
