Following a heated fight among their songs, BTS member V has finally chosen his absolute favourite! Surprisingly, he chose the 2016 tune Save Me over all others, including his own solo tracks, to win the BTS Song World Cup. In an audio-only webcast at 12 a.m. on September 12, Kim Taehyung launched a game of Best BTS song, clicking through the tens of music the group has released in the 13 years since their debut. In the end, he announced the nearly decade-old release as his favourite.

Just a day ago, BTS' V was browsing the fan communication portal Weverse, reading the BTS ARMY's numerous posts, when he came across one that begged him to organise a BTS Song World Cup. Impressed by the concept, he implemented it during a live session, exploring the internet for an acceptable venue to do so. After selecting the correct one, he began scrolling through the many BTS tracks, evoking nostalgia and admiring fellow members' vocals.
From their initial tracks to their most current ones, the singer combed through them all, picking his favourites and asking fans for recommendations, but ultimately doing what he wanted. Some of his most difficult decisions came down to choosing between the old gems that made BTS famous and the newer ones with millions of listeners. He even chose BTS music over his own solo single Winter Bear, demonstrating his willingness to be honest.
V revealed his favourite BTS songs
The same could not be said for one specific music, maknae Jungkook's Euphoria. The 2018 season advanced pretty far in the game, competing and winning against the likes of Young Forever, a tearjerker from 2016, which is beloved by fans everywhere. However, near the end, it was overtaken by V's feelings for Dimple. The youngest member's Euphoria was ultimately surpassed in the quarterfinals, but we're not complaining!
The finale took place between Save Me and Mikrokosmos, the latter of which was released in 2019 and is one of the best moments in any BTS concert for both the group and its fans. And, despite being the number one pick among the BTS ARMY, member V chose Save Me, surprise everyone!
