Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The couple got married on Monday morning in a quiet ceremony at the Ling Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. This marks the second marriage for both Samantha and Raj Nidimoru. Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya; they got divorced four years ago.

Samantha's bridal look

On Monday, Samantha shared beautiful pictures from her intimate wedding ceremony with Raj Nidimoru. For the ceremony, Samantha wore a gorgeous red Banarasi saree along with traditional jewellery, and her hair was adorned with gajra. Raj, on the other hand, opted for a white kurta-pajama paired with a copper-coloured Nehru jacket.

For her wedding, Samantha wore a hand-woven Banarasi saree crafted in pure Katan satin silk by a single master artisan. It features delicate powder-zari buttis and a Nishi-woven border enhanced with subtle beige-gold zardozi embroidery using saadi taar, cut dana, kasab, and tiny mirrors, creating an understated yet rich finish. The outfit was designed by Arpita Mehta.

Samantha also flaunted her engagement ring in the pictures she shared online. Hindustan Times spoke to a jewellery expert regarding the diamond ring on Samantha’s finger. The expert explained that it features a portrait-cut diamond — one of the oldest and most timeless diamond styles in existence.

About Samantha and Raj Nidimoru

For the unaware, Samantha is believed to have first met Raj during the shoot of the Amazon Prime Video series, "The Family Man 2", in which she played a powerful role.

The two once again joined hands for the web show, "Citadel: Honey Bunny", co-starring Varun Dhawan.

The rumors of Samantha and Raj being in a relationship began to circulate as the two were seen together at various events.

Earlier this year, Samantha dropped a post about her first step into the world of sports. The photos posted on her IG also included Raj.

Another post by Samantha talked about new beginnings. Uploading a string of photos which also had Raj, she mentioned, "It’s been a long road, but here we are New beginnings @tralalamovingpictures. (sic)."

For the unversed, Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple tied the knot in 2017 in a grand ceremony. However, they ended up going their separate ways in 2021. Naga Chaitanya married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December last year.
