This global expansion cements Kantara: Chapter 1’s position as a true cultural phenomenon that continues to elevate Indian cinema to new heights and is set to be the biggest Indian film in Australia.
Shorter runtime for the English version
Interestingly, the poster of the English version mentions the film having a runtime of 2 hours and 14 minutes. The film's original runtime is 2 hours and 48 minutes. Long runtime for movies is not a general practice in Western cinema. It seems the makers have reduced the runtime to cater to the English-speaking natives.
