Anushka Sharma has already shared a screen space with SRK, sharing about her equation with him once again, Anushka said: "Aanand is an easy going director... He is supremely confident as a director. I found it very easy to trust him. I followed his vision very easily. He is a loving person and takes care of us around. He makes you feel at ease and make things easier for us."
Katrina Kaif, who plays the role of an alcoholic artist in the movie, talks about her character: "In this character, the only inspiration was Aanand L Rai, Himanshu sir and Shah Rukh Khan...I have derived all my inspiration from them...it did not come from outside actors specific from any country...it was just up to me to process and execute it."
Discussing how different was the equation on set with Shah Rukh Khan after Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Anushka said: "Aanand is an easy going director... He is supremely confident as a director. I found it very easy to trust him. I followed his vision very easily. He is a loving person and takes care of us around. He makes you feel at ease and make things easier for us."
Talking about how the actor bagged the film, Shah Rukh Khan said: "Aanand did not ask many people for my character. Salman called me up and said there's a film and you should do it. he also gave suggestions about how do we do a few scenes and that's the reason he did this song...he wanted to be a part of it. It was tough and unusual...the natural equation you have and the equation you will have to have with the character, difficult. He's got such a lively personality, joy and passion. it was tricky and make sure to keep in mind that he is a dwarf."
Shah Rukh Khan also speaks about racism and his character dwarf: "We are very quick to judge. I feel I could be someone to give positivity because I have lived my dream.. Aisa nahi tha ki mai talented tha... Virat and Sachin, Dilip saab had God's gift... I did not have the talent of acting.... People said you're dark, the nose isn't sharp, no looks...the judgemental nature that we have we should stop and think about how wonderful we are."
When Shah Rukh Khan was asked about his character Bauua in the film Zero, the actor said: "For me, it was easy to play a dwarf. It was difficult for Anushka to catch the detailing of it. VFX team and cinematographer gave us much freedom to give our expressions. We did not bind the other actors. The first time, when I saw the teaser, we thought we have a lot of freedom. It's been eased off due to VFX team. We did not want to make this film, we wanted to live it. It's the same about life. Live it to the fullest. I give the same advice to my children. Believe in the goodness of life it will reward you again and again."
Anushka Sharma talks about her character: "I'm playing a character who has a cerebral... I used to get up from the wheelchair only for lunch. I'm happy I got this opportunity... I have tried doing something that is different and I would feel very challenged and keep asking myself whether I've done justice. I never felt this nervous before doing this film."
In a media interaction during the trailer launch of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan was asked when does he feels like a loser? To which, Shah Rukh Khan said: "I feel like a loser in every situation. Every day there is a moment when you feel like a zero... AbRam denied coming to me when I called him, and I felt like a zero... I always feel I am not good enough. I am not good at everything. So, I have to keep improving."
Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif - the leads of the Aanand L Rai's movie, Zero were all smiles while introducing the trailer to the audience. Talking about working with SRK, Anushka and Katrina, Aanand said: "This is a film about winning and not losing. The title is zero because we take things for granted... Be it any relationship, this is a story about a person's win."
While launching the trailer of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan said: "Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma had the dream of making this film...they had this belief that this film will be made. Without them, this would never happen. Katrina and Anushka lost confidence backstage, I keep losing my confidence...but these two people were beside us as our support and let this happen."
