'Bigg Boss 8' takes off, contestants revealed

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan returned as the 'Bigg Boss 8' host for the fifth time on Sunday to unveil the names of celebrities who will be holed inside the house, which is actually an old aircraft.

Mostly comprising of Bollywood names, this year the show will have Arya Babbar, Minissha Lamba, Upen Patel, item girl Natasa Stankovic, 'Grand Masti' actress Karishma Tanna and 'The Xpose' actress Sonali Raut as few of the 15 participants.



Salman will play the role of a pilot of the aircraft-like house, where inmates will be locked in for three months. The other contestants include TV stars Sukirti Kandpal,
Soni Singh, Gautam Gulati of 'Diya aur Bati' fame and Praneet Bhatt, who played Shakuni in 'Mahabharat'.

Apart from these actors, model Diandra Soares, known for her bald looks on the ramp and Sushant Divgikar will also be seen in the show.

There are three other contestants but their names will be revealed in the coming days. As secret society members, they have been given a special task by Bigg Boss and are safe from eviction. These members are reportedly Puneet Issar, RJ Preetam and Deepshikha Nagpal.

Unlike last season, this year, the toilets and bathroom will be combined. The contestants will have to keep their luggage in the overhead compartments just like an airplane. This time, there are no beds inside the glass walled house and reclining chairs will be used as beds.
