He was 29 and his survived by his wife and infant daughter. He had participated in the show in 2006 and was from Bikaner in Rajasthan. Sonu Nigam, a former judge of the music show, posted on a micro blogging site, “Sandeep Acharya died? Oh my God.. I’m so so sad. Wht a btful soul. Jaundice? Gosh. .. very sad. The boy was just 29... God give his parents sm strength(sic).”u00a0
