Actress Smita Singh, who tuned a year older on Saturday, celebrated her birthday by facing her fear. "I'm celebrating my birthday in Auckland. People are loving and are quite fond of Indian television shows. I was given a wonderful welcome," Smita said in a statement.

Talking about her birthday plans, she said her friends gave her a surprise during midnight. Then, she overcame her fear of heights. "I enjoyed sky diving. I can't tell you how wonderful it is. It's the most amazing experience of my life. I feel blessed to celebrate my birthday fighting my fear," said the actress, who has featured in shows like "Hitler Didi" and "Thapki Pyar Ki".
