Telly actor Karan Mehra featured in 'Ragini MMS2', but missed being part of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, 'The Shaukeens'.

His dates couldn’t be accommodated as he had committed them to the TV show Pavitra Rishta. Producer Ekta Kapoor called Karan as her first choice to play Naren, an important character post the leap.
“The shoot dates clashed with Pavitra Rishta. The Shaukeens was a tempting offer. Who would want to miss working with Akshay Kumar?” he says.
