The trailer launch of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run turned dramatic when actor Aasif Sheikh revealed a shocking on set incident that could have ended in tragedy. The much loved television franchise is all set to make its big screen debut, and during the event, the cast shared an unexpected and frightening moment from the film’s shoot.

Aasif Sheikh recalls a scary incident

Recalling the incident, Aasif Sheikh said it happened on the very first day of shooting at a new location. He revealed that he and co star Ravi Kishan were sitting together and sipping coffee when a massive tree suddenly came crashing down between them. “It happened on our first day at a new location. Ravi and I were sitting next to each other, sipping coffee, when a tree nearly 12 to 13 feet tall fell right between us. Had either of us been standing there, hamari chutney ban jaati,” he said, describing the terrifying moment.

Ravi Kishan added that the tree was extremely heavy and its fall created a loud impact that stunned everyone on set. “The tree must have weighed around 500 kilos. It fell with a massive boom, and I ended up bruising my shoulder during the incident,” he shared, adding that the situation could have been far worse.

Producer Sanjay Kohli also spoke about the aftermath of the incident and how the cast and crew reacted. He revealed that everyone was in shock for nearly half an hour after the tree fell. Ravi Kishan received immediate medical attention for his injury but surprised everyone by returning to work shortly after. “Within 30 minutes, Ravi was back on set saying, ‘Chalo, karte hai shooting,’” the producer recalled, praising his dedication and professionalism.

Despite the scare, the team maintained a positive spirit and continued filming. The incident served as a reminder of how unpredictable film sets can be, even during comedy projects meant to bring laughter to audiences.
