Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, has kept viewers interested with its surprising drama, intense fights, internal intrigue, and tough assignments. The reality show premiered on August 24 of this year. After nearly three weeks, the contestants saw the first-ever double elimination. In this episode, Polish actress Natalia Janoszek and Nagma Mirajkar were eliminated from the Bigg Boss House. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, Natalia got candid about her experience in the house, eviction and more.
Natalia on her stay in the house and Mridul
I'll be honest, I really enjoyed my stay in the house. I feel like Mridul just played along, kind of. I think he’s a YouTuber and was creating content, so for him, being seen with a foreign girl meant something. He’s a boy from Noida, a bit younger, and I think it started off very light and fun. We were both enjoying ourselves, but we had some difficulty with language. Most of our interactions were through dancing or short Hindi conversations, saying words like Babu and Meri Jaan. It was lighthearted and humorous.
If not for the task, I think I would have stayed in the house. I was on good terms with everyone. Maybe I had a small disagreement with Abhishek over the bed, but it wasn’t that I didn’t like him. That fight even added a little friction between Mridul and me. But even Nagma, who voted twice for me to leave because she said she didn’t see me in the house and made no effort with me at first, after spending time together in the chopping team, she said, “After I got to know you, I really like you.” So, I feel like I made friends, and I’m sure I’ll see them all once they’re out, and our friendships will continue.
Natalia reacts to the nominations and being called the soft target
At the beginning, as I mentioned, some people like Nagma probably felt, “Oh, she’s a foreigner, she doesn’t understand.” As Salman Khan said, and Farhana pointed out, I was a soft target. If people didn’t know who to vote for, they’d vote for Natalia, because it was easy to say, “She’s a foreigner.” That’s why I’m happy I survived the first week or two and showed that I have something more to offer. Even with Shehbaz, who doesn’t speak much English, we found our own way of communicating, and it was never a problem.
