Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal has been grabbing attention for her bizarre claims and gameplay. However, she is now facing legal heat outside the house. After an MP resident filed a complaint against her for tarnishing Gwalior's reputation, an old video of her using a potash gun has landed her in trouble. The material, banned in the state, was used by Tanya in a viral video, with a resident demanding an FIR against her.
FIR demanded against Tanya Mittal
According to a report by Aaj Tak, Gwalior resident Shishupal Singh Kanshana has filed a complaint with ASP Anu Beniwal, demanding that an FIR be filed against Mittal, as the video of her using a potash gun went viral shortly after the district had banned the manufacture, sale, and use of potash guns.
A few days ago, the Gwalior district administration banned the manufacture, sale, and use of potash guns, citing the serious eye injuries caused by the gun. The ASP has reportedly asked the cybersecurity team to investigate the matter and provide clarification soon. Meanwhile, several reports suggest that this video is two years old, from a time when the use of potash guns wasn’t banned.
Tanya Mittal’s claims
She gained immense popularity after her recordings of assisting people during the Kumbh Mela stampede went viral. In the Bigg Boss 19 house, she is seen boasting about her luxurious lifestyle. Among her statements, Tanya described her home as more beautiful and expensive than any five-star or seven-star hotel. She also claimed to have 150 bodyguards and to own multiple business ventures, including one in sarees.
She mentioned traveling to Agra just to drink coffee, visiting Delhi only to eat dal in luxury hotels, and even going to Dubai just to eat baklava, with the biscuits she consumes allegedly imported from London.
Talking about her gameplay, her fake behaviour was recently called out by Amaal Mallik, and even Neelam Giri broke ties with her. It all began when Neelam raised the issue in front of the entire house. Pointing to Farrhana Bhatt, she asked Tanya, “Tu isse kyun baat karti hai, merko ye bata?” (Tell me why you’re talking to her). She continued, “Iss ghar mein sabse zyada isne mujhe rulaya hai, ye iske paas jaake kyun baat karti hai?” (She’s made me cry the most in this house, so why do you speak to her?) Neelam even went on to call Tanya dogli (two-faced).
