Recent reports speculated that actor Ronit Roy might enter the hit TV show Anupamaa as Vanraj Shah following the show's latest leap. However, a source close to the production has denied the rumour.

According to the recent reports by News 18, Ronit Roy was in talks with the makers of Anupamaa to enter the show as Vanraj Shah post the recent leap. The show has been adding numerous new tracks to the show with Anu returning to dance with her new gang from Mumbai. She will soon have a face-off with her daughter Raahi in the competition. However, regarding the new update on Ronit entering the show, a source close to the show refuted the rumours.
The source mentioned, 'There haven't been any developments regarding Vanraj on the show. These are just speculations and there isn't anything true about it.' Ronit Roy has also shared with various media portals that he isn't doing the show; the speculations regarding his entry in Anupamaa are completely false.
Ronit on returning to TV
While talking to ETimes, Ronit had reacted to returning to TV, "So, I'm not averse to doing a long show or being on television for a longer time. However, as I mentioned, there is still much to be desired on television. 25 years from when I began. And the world has changed. Some things need to be fixed regarding television. So, once that happens, I will likely be back. Till such time, I'm happy where I am."
Earlier, there had been speculations of Gaurav Khanna also returning to the show; however, there have been no confirmations on the same.
The recent track of Anupamaa
Talking about the current track on the show, Anu and Raahi are soon going to have a face-off on the dance competition stage. Despite Prem being aware of Anu and Raahi participating in the same competition, he decided to hide it from both of them. The new promo of the show reveals that finally, the Shahs will come to know about Anu's whereabouts with this competition. It will be interesting to see whether Anu will return to Ahmedabad or stay back in Mumbai.
