She revealed, “When my trainer returned and I told him, he was very happy. He said he knew I could do better. We eventually decided to aim for 75 kilos for the official record, which was the number I felt most confident about."

Priya added that she wanted to achieve something big for herself before turning 40. Priya says that after becoming a mother or crossing 40, many people think women cannot focus on themselves. She wanted to prove the notion wrong and set an example that age and motherhood should not stop anyone from chasing their dreams.

Priya Ahuja reveals her routine

Speaking about her routine, Priya revealed that she wakes up at 4 am for meditation, prayers and workout. Talking about her child, she says, “If my cup is empty, I cannot fill my child’s cup with happiness and love," she said.

The actress went on to credit her feat to her husband, Malav Rajda, who is also the director of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, and her family. She said, “Malav has been my biggest support. I could show up every day because he took care of Ardas (their son) in the morning so I could have my time."

She added, "Age is just a number. You need to love yourself and stay physically and mentally fit. If you are not happy, your family cannot be completely happy." The actress further said that the record is just the beginning, and that she aims to achieve more in fitness and life, saying, “I have a lot to achieve right now, and I am definitely going to do that."
