The founders of the organisation, Mohammed Nurull Islam and Assan Ali will now be giving an illustrated talk, Developing Critical Minds, as part of Culture Cafe series at School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

The project was founded by a group of young neighbourhood volunteers in 1995, to create social and educational activities for young people, and mostly included unemployed Bangladeshi men from lower income groups.

It is known for filmmaking, participatory arts and sports projects to encourage the personal development of disadvantaged young people.

This talk will include some of these films in addition to the screening of their new film, PFC: What’s the Big Deal?

This short film takes a look at the Perfect Fried Chicken (PFC) eatery and uncovers some of the underlying reasons behind the 'big deal'about it.
