Piano virtuoso, Grammy and Academy Award-winner Jon Batiste is set to make his long-awaited India debut this November.
With a performance in Delhi-NCR on November 24 at Plenary Hall, Bharat Mandapam, he will perform at The Grand Theatre, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai on November 26.
Here’s why Jon Batiste’s debut India tour is going to be an once-in-a-lifetime experience:
1. A global star who keeps breaking records
When Jon Batiste says “music has no limits,” he proves it. His 2021 album 'We Are' made Grammy history with 11 nominations across seven categories and five wins, including Album of the Year. His latest, World Music Radio, once again picked up nominations for the biggest awards. Watching him live is watching a record-breaker in action.
2. Music that refuses to fit in a box
Batiste’s sound is impossible to pin down and that’s the magic. From jazz to gospel, hip-hop to Latin, pop to soul, his music bends genres and blends cultures. World Music Radio even features a stellar lineup of collaborators, Lana Del Rey, Lil Wayne, NewJeans, Camilo and more, proving that his stage is a universe of sound.
3. More than just a musician
Batiste is not only a musician, he’s an artist who transcends boundaries. From winning an Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Grammy for his work on Pixar’s Soul to creating soul-stirring tracks like ‘It Never Went Away’, his artistry is deeply personal yet universally moving. Every note is a story, every song a memory in the making.
4. A voice that speaks to our times
Beyond the piano keys, Batiste has always been a cultural force. Whether leading street performances during Black Lives Matter or using music to spread hope and resilience, his art resonates far beyond the stage. His India debut is about experiencing a voice that reflects the spirit of our times.
5. Mumbai, you’re in for a cultural landmark moment
The Mumbai show on November 26 will make history. This world-class venue has hosted some of the most iconic global acts and now it’s Batiste’s turn to set the stage on fire. For Mumbai fans, this is a chance to see the performer up close.
The tickets for the Delhi-NCR show are live while tickets to the Mumbai show will kick off with the artist pre-sale at 12 noon on September 21 and General On-Sale starts on September 22 2025 at 4 pm, exclusively on BookMyShow.
