The Waka Waka diva apparently began belly dancing to overcome shyness and started by trying to flick a coin on her belly.
The 33 year-old singer starts the day with a glass of grapefruit or orange juice, one slice of melon, one slice of whole grain toast with low-fat cheese and tea or coffee with a splash of no-fat milk.
Her mid-morning snack comprises a serving of fruit with some low-fat yoghurt. Lunch can be anything from grilled beef steak to a plate of spaghetti with veggies.
She snacks on whole-wheat toast or yoghurt in the evenings, followed by a light dinner of vegetable soup and fruit. Shakira avoids alcohol, junk food, sweets and late nights to stay in peak condition.
