South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung unveiled their much delayed Z1 smartphone with Tizen at an event in New Delhi. The phone is priced at Rs 5,700.

Samsung has been working on the Tizen operating system for several years in association with the Tizen Association, Intel and the Linux foundation. The chief purpose for creating the mobile operating system is to reduce its dependence on Google's Android OS.
