This is an SOS call. The Delhi-based style siblings need to find a new era to pepper their inspiration with; they have been stuck in the My-Fair-Lady-meets-American-golden-girl-Grace-Kelly fifties forever. Jaded muse aside, the collection embraced a minimal, somber approach with demure silhouettes and a toned down colour palette spanning blacks and whites, with an occasional hint of grey, cream, nude and stark silver.

Model Sapna Kumar set the stage for slim silhouettes spoilt by sparse embellishment, when she walked in wearing a pencil dress with pleated detailing. The remaining 11-outfit sequence moved forward with a few variations implemented by the placement of frills, pleating and buttons, while necklines oscillated between boat and square. The sleeves stuck to double cap.

The invisible quality of pleats made a grand comeback in the second and third sequence, by teaming up with flamboyant frills to create a bustier-cut pencil dress with asymmetrical pleated frill bands and tulle drape, a diamond hem dress with clustered frill details and a pleated bust.

We like the contradiction between the softness of dreamy pink, blue and emerald, and the strength of design, showcased as red carpet dress options, at the end of the show.
