Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust organised a felicitation ceremony for Laxmi Narayan Tripathi (Badi Maa) and the transgender's community in Mumbai. The felicitation event witnessed Laxmi Maa, the guest of honour gracing the occasion and blessing everyone with her choicest blessings. The event also had the presence of the transgender community members who were felicitated and given a token of appreciation.

The transgender community faces a lot of torment in the society and are often neglected. The kind gesture by Nidarshana Gowani an dher NGO has touched the hearts of the transgender Community. Nidarshana Gowani has always strived to uplift the different sections of the society through various programs and initiatives organised by her NGO. Laxmi Maa during the event was highly touched by the gesture of the Kamala Gowani Trust and spoke on the importance of education and how Nidarshana Gowani's Trust has been the true inspiration towards the growth and development of all the sections of the society. The Ankibar Ghamandiram Gowani Trust also holds strong values towards ensuring quality education to the children. They have been supporting the education of many children and helping with the different resources to build a stronger India.

During the event, Trustee Nidarshana Gowani says, “Over the years, we have received tremendous love and support from Laxmi Maa and Kinnars. They have always showered us with their blessings which has helped us grow and work towards society. Through this event I want to give the message that in order to grow and build an inclusive community we all need to take that first step. We all are one and when we stand united there is no force that can break the unity. Let us all live together as one big family and take an active part in the development of our society and Mother Earth. It was an honour to arrange the felicitation ceremony and celebrate the day with them. As an NGO, we have always worked towards ensuring quality life for everyone. Our NGO is dedicated towards helping the cancer patients and the underprivileged children”.

Since her childhood, Nidarshana Gowani has always worked towards the betterment of the society. The values inculcated in her has helped her to conceptualize and vision the Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust. The Kamala Ankibai Gowani Trust was started to reach out to the less privileged section of the society. Over the past years, they have organized various food distribution camps, events to provide a platform to children to showcase their talent and ensuring they have a healthy life. The NGO also focusses on providing quality education and promoting self-employment in order to eradicate poverty and improve the quality of life. These various initiatives are carried out throughout India.

Nidarshana Gowani is the self-made real estate entrepreneur and has marked strong footprints in the male dominated industry. She is benevolent at heart and work zealously towards the growth and development of the society. She single handedly spearheads the different initiatives at her NGO and ensures that she makes a difference in the society through her words, actions and deeds. She is an inspiration to many and a role model. Through her NGO she has been fulfilling her dream and vision to work for the less privileged sections of the society.

Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust has been established with the aim of rising by lifting others. It works round the year to bring a change in the lives of the people through their different programs and initiatives. The NGO has an extensive reach in India and ensures that every child receives quality education and is able to live a dignified life. The NGO also works towards the betterment of the cancer patients wherein it has a special tie up with the Tata Memorial Hospital where is provides delicious meals to the patients.

In the society today, we need more such people who work towards the development of the communities who are often neglected by the society. The transgender community has also been a victim to various atrocities and events like these brings about a change in the thinking and perception of the many. As part of the society we all should ensure that we built an inclusive community without any biases or discrimination. The trust has always worked towards the different sections of the society ensuring that everyone grows together as one big family.
