Mumbai Halchal Achievers Awards 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as Coronavirus pandemic did not only lead to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide, but we also faced an economic and social disruption. While on one hand people were largely confined to their homes due to shut down on the other hand doctors, health care workers and several government departments were leading the battle against COVID-19 from the front. There were also people from different walks of life who came forward selflessly and volunteered to help the needy in their own way during this time. Putting their own lives at risk with selfless determination for the sake of saving lives, they truly are our heroes in these challenging times.

To honour their selfless work, Corona Warriors were given away awards in a ceremony organized in Mumbai Bustle at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai by Daily Newspaper. The ceremony which was attended by several dignitaries had Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji as the Chief Guest. In the Award ceremony people from the film world along with people from different walks of society such as doctors, IPS officers, police officers, businessmen and social workers were honored with the Mumbai Halchal Achievers Award 2021.





In the ceremony organized at Raj Bhavan, Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji presented awards to 50 inspiring personalities which included likes of Railway Police Commissioner Kuaiser Khalid, Haji Ali Dargah Trustee Sohail Khandwani along with CEO of Health Reative Munish Khan. Rajan Suryakumar Gupta, Babita Obhan, Vishal Kapoor, Kamal Palan, Archana Jain, Rabia Patel, Sarfaraz Saifi, Dr. Zahid N. Qureshi, Prof. Renuka Bangard, Anand Prakash Mishra, Rahul Shukla (Midday), Ajit Rao Rane, Sangeeta Uttam Dhaigude, Dilip Kumandas Amlani, Somling Kamble, Ujwala Vishwakarma, Mursleen Shaikh, Nitin Ismail Shakoor Gupta, Nandita Khan, Ashish Bhandari, Salim Saifi, Aruna Nabh, Apoorva Shelhalkar, Adil Khan, Shahbaz Khan, Salamat Ali, Shailesh Patel, Raj Ashu, Pramod Kumar Jha, Kiran Kumar Titoria, Saurabh Tiwari, Abhimanyu Shitole, Rakesh Dubey, Wasim Siddique, Nazma Shaikh, Virender Narayan Kunder, Mohammad Farooq Gheewala, Apeksha Choudhary, Rupal Mohata, Shubhada Pradeep Chavan, Naira Banerjee, Vikash Mittarsain, Priyatama Balasaheb Muthe, Hasan Maqbool Mulani, Kalpesh Mehta, Rajesh Kadam, Chanda Patel Kushal, Suresh Dhuri were amongst the recipient of this awards given away by the Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyariji.

On this occasion, Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyariji, congratulated all the people who received the honor and addressed them saying, “The work done by them in the society is commendable and other people should also come forward to contribute in the development of the society by connecting with the society in the same way.”

COVID 19 Pandemic presented an extraordinary challenge in India in terms of public health, distribution of resources, supplies and food systems, and the world of work. The economic and social disruption caused by the pandemic may be devastating, however with the collective work India will win this battle.
