I am in love with someone I simply can't have...

Dear Diana,
I don't believe you can ask somebody to control who they fall in love with, and I'm falling in love with someone I simply can't have, I've known her all my life, we're good friends. She's 19, I'm 23. She is the most beautiful incredible person ever and I'd do anything to be with her, but she's my first cousin. I know this is wrong but I can't help it. I love her. What should I do?

Akash

Dear Akash,
First figure out if she loves you or not. What's the point of building castles in the air? You might be making yourself miserable over something that really never was yours to begin with. And if it is impossible for you to have au00a0 romantic relationship with her, the lesser you see her the better. But if there is even the slightest sliver of hope that it could work out between your families, take that chance. Medically speaking though, you'll have to speak to a physician to figure out what could go wrong should you two decide to, fall in love, get married and have a baby.

What if she's cheating on me?

Dear Diana,
What do I do when I think my girlfriend is cheating on me?

Rakesh

Dear Rakesh,
Well first be completely sure that she is cheating on you, play it cool and then talk to her and coolly ask her why she is doing this to you and what you did to deserve this...

Why is he playing mind games with me?

Dear Diana,
My ex-fiance contacted me this year. He told me he got married. We had a bad split. It was mutual but I wanted to clear the air and we emailed a couple of times butu00a0I noticed he was answering the emails early in the morning and would only reply when he wanted to. I was sorry for everything and wished him well for his future etc and to forget me. Last night, four months after I said sorry, I get a email from him raking up what we spoke about four months earlier and saying things like he doesn't want to forget me. I never responded. Why is he playing these mind games ?

Name withheld

Dear Friend,
Regardless of what this man is trying to do it is only going to end up badly and the chances are you will be the one that gets hurt. If the break up was bad, there is no need to stay friends. You don't even sound like you really want him in your life either. So the best thing all round is just to cut contact with him and don't allow him any means of contacting you. So if he has your email address, close that account and open a new one under a new name. If he has your phone number - change it or get your mobile phone service provider to block his phone number. Once you cut him out completely he will get the picture that you dont want him in your life anymore and he will go back to his wife. Men like him can't let go of the past u2014 he is probably the type that wants to keep a few other women in his life hanging around just in case something goes wrong with his marriage. He is a waste of time.
