Recite original verses themed around the sea
If you are a budding poet who makes use of elements of nature in your writing, this poetry reading session can be your new medium of expression. For its fourth edition, curators Omkar Bhatkar and Vipul Mahagaonkar — who organised eight weeks of play and short story readings on the theme of the monsoon recently — have invited poets to share their sea-inspired works. Today is the last day to submit your poems for selection.

Curator Omkar Bhatkar explains, "The city has many open- mic poetry events but they lack a theme. We wanted to experiment to see what comes out of the blue sea when it is used as a muse for poetry."
