The victim, a resident of Chinchwad, who was being sexually exploited by her father for over two years, finally broke her silence and told her mother about the atrocities she was subjected to.
Police officials said the victim in her statement said that her father threatened her that he would kill her mother and sister If she opened her mouth.
“The girl narrated the incident to her mother some three months ago following which they finally approached the police today. The fatter was arrested under relevant sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act,” said Inspector P B Lokhande of the Chinchwad police station. u00a0
