The Mumbai Police arrested a 50-year-old man after his ex-wife pressed charges of rape against him. In her complaint, the woman also alleged that the accused was blackmailing her with an obscene video clip.
According to a report in Times of India, the couple is divorced and has a young daughter. Last month the accused contacted his ex-wife's sister, and said that his daughter was old enough to get married, a police official said.
As per sources, through his ex-sister-in-law, the accused touched base with his ex-wife and visited her Kandivli residence. In her complaint, the ex-wife claimed that he raped her and shot an obscene video of her. Later, he began blackmailing her.
