Meanwhile, two persons were recently arrested for allegedly robbing a rickshaw driver at knife point and trying to take away his vehicle in Mumbai’s Mankhurd area. The incident happened on Saturday evening when the driver was going to Shil Phata with three passengers, said a police official.

The police official told PTI, “The three asked him to stop at a secluded place and at knife point took his money and also tried to take away his vehicle. Two patrolling policemen saw the incident and managed to arrest one of them.”

He added that the second accused was arrested from Mumbra and that they have launched a manhunt for the third accused involved. He added that the driver was injured in the melee and he was taken to a nearby hospital by the constables.
