The police caught 20 people in the suburbs last night for loitering in an inebriated state. Some of them were caught walking aimlessly outside a bar whereas the others were held for creating a ruckus on the road.
They were brought to the Cooper Hospital at 2 am for a check up after which they were put behind bars.
They are likely to be released on bail today.
The police have tightened security in the city and are carrying out stringent checks, especially in the night, ever since the trial of Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab, the lone surviving terrorist of the 26/11 terror attacks, began at the Arthur Road jail.
